Spice mix with chili
dried
Our spicy, piquant mixture contains, among other spices, white mustard seeds, coriander seeds, chili and fragrant herbs: basil and marjoram. When ground together, these spices are excellent seasonings for meat dishes, stews, steaks, sauces and vegetables. In the mill, the seeds are filled whole, and the additional spices are dried in flakes, fibers or crumbled in order to best preserve their aroma.
Due to its handy and attractive appearance, our mill also looks great on the dining table, but at the same time takes up little space in the kitchen. By adjusting the grinding cap, you can set the size of the spices you want to grind in two steps. This mixture is salt-free.
weight: 40 gDo you know, that…
The chili plant is native to Central and South America, as well as the West Indies and the Caribbean islands. It has been cultivated for thousands of years. Thanks to the Spanish, it spread all over the world.
Coriander was already known in Europe in ancient times - we know that the Greeks and Romans also used it with pleasure. It was even found in Tutankhamun's tomb! The Bible also mentions it.
Mustard seeds were also known in ancient China and Greece. Hippocrates even attributed healing properties to it.
How to use
This chili mixture is most suitable for seasoning stews, steaks or spicy soups, as well as poultry dishes. It can be used to make spicy, deep-fried chicken breast, aromatic grilled meat or goulash with a spicy, more exotic taste.
It is also suitable for spicy burritos and chili con carne dishes.
For those who like vegetable dishes, we recommend it for preparing spicy soup. It can be especially delicious to make the taste of creamy, simpler soups more exciting, e.g. in the case of pumpkin and zucchini-based soups.
