weight: 40 gDo you know, that…
Paprika or spice paprika is primarily considered a Hungarian spice in our country and other European countries, even though it was first mentioned in Hungarian cookbooks only in the 18th century. The real Hungarian invention was grinding the paprika into powder.
Peasants living in the Great Plains were the first to discover that ground paprika, fried in oil with onions, provides a characteristic and delicious juice, which has been used as a base for roasts ever since. With this discovery, Hungarian cuisine was completely transformed.
How to use
Sprinkle it on creams, buttercream, season fillings, ragouts, and stews and rub meat slices with it. The dosage varies according to our taste, but be sure to take into account that the mixture also contains salt.
Primarily recommended for pork and chicken, but also provides a fine seasoning for beef.
